Jerez is just a few minutes away from the Atlantic beaches and the Cadiz mountain range. Over 3,200 hours of sunshine grace the town with mild temperatures all year round. Jerez, one of Andalusia's most typical towns, boasts an endless list of tourist attractions, ranging from monuments such as the Moslem Fortress, Saint James’ and Saint Michael's churches, the Cathedral and the Carthusian Monastery, to unique institutions like the Royal School of Equestrian Art (where the marvellous Carthusian horses, an unrivalled Spanish-Arabic breed, can be admired ) and no end of wine cellars to visit where the famous Jerez wines and sherries are produced.

All this and the truly distinctive character of the area are nevertheless only part of what this region has to offer. Carthusian horse riding; the birthplace of flamenco; the host of the motor racing circuit (where international motorcycling and motor racing competitions are staged) as well as the monuments in the city centre which are of major historic-artistic interest.

During your stay in Jerez, you can also visit cities like Seville, Cordoba or the villages of the Costa de la luz.

Youth Hostel is arranged in a main building of 7 floors, with gardens in its entrance hall and interior, along with the swimming pool. On the ground floor and first floor are arranged the communal offices and the different rooms they offer. The upper floors are designed to be accomodation. It has as special services its wide offer of rooms. Easy access to the historic centre of Jerez. Located within the main conurbation of the city, in the Southern region. Served by a local bus connection. To Five minutes of Cádiz.

Arrival day: “Meet and greet” service at the airport by our staff and the first informative meetings plus introduction to the students.

During the stay: Accommodation on full-board basis and Spanish language course consisting of 4 hours a day. The courses also include weekly activities and excursions.

The prices include:

Accommodation: Full board in modern youth hostels, belonging to the network of hostels in Andalusia. The Andalusian Company of Facility Management and Youth Tourism INTURJOVEN, S.A. is integrated into the Andalusian Youth Institute, and an organisation belonging to the Regional Government of Andalusia.

Experienced group leader; accompanying the group in the airport of arrival and throughout their stay in Spain.

Transfer: From the different airports to accommodation and back on departure day. Attendance by a member of our Agents in the airports of departure and arrival and also during de stay in Andalusia.

Spanish Courses: Focused on spoken Spanish. 20 hours a week in small groups with qualified native teachers.

Facilities: Use of all facilities in our centres.

Activities: Social and sports activities in the afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Excursions: One full-day excursion each week, and one half-day, to famous cities and places of interest.

Certificate: A certificate of attendance and an individual assessment of student knowledge at the end of the course.
