Viajes Triana was set up in 1989 by a group of three Young professionals who had wide experience in the field.

Their idea was to create an organization that was small in size but with large ambitions, which could generate new business and open new markets in the tourist industry. They focused on quality and service to the client by creating new products that would satisfy the needs and expectations of the different market sectors (vacation, business and groups).

The process of expansion started in 1991 by opening their first branch in the village of Camas (Seville).

In 1992, the main office moved from the initial position in Callao Street to a three storey building in Pagés del Corro street, which is located in the popular Seville district from which the company takes its name – Triana.

The firm became a Limited company in 1993 and expanded the business activities from simply selling to the general public to include corporate sales while at the same time boosting the company’s capital resources substantially.

In 1999, 10 years after its creation, Viajes Triana inaugurated office number ten and thus consolidated its project of continual growth, which is based on the following premises:

  1. Profit reinvestment, which guarantees the organization financial evolution and solidity.

  2. Real state acquisition (most of our main offices are the propriety of Viajes Triana)

  3. The creation of new offices and departments which allow us to offer new specialized services to a wide range of customers.

Our year on year growth averages more than 35%. In 2000 we had a total of 12 branches and Viajes Triana became the number one Travel Agency in Seville.

In 2005, as a result of our quality commitment, Viajes Triana received the Enterprise Register Certificate which was awarded by AENOR, after establishing the basis for a Quality Management Certificate, based on the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 norm.

At the same time, we were awarded the Quality Certificate by the International Network Certification - IQNET.

Our first branch outside Andalucía opened in 2006. Badajoz was the city chosen as the starting point of our extension into Extremadura.

In 2007, after an important reconstruction where a new 6-storey building was formed   (4 of these storeys are only used for dealing with clients) we began working again out of offices in Pagés del Corro street.

Viajes Triana is a member of the following building associations:

  • AEVISE (Seville Travel Agents Association)

  • FEAAV (Spanish Travel Agency Federation)

  • IATA (International Air Transport Association)

  • TRAVEL ADVISORS GUILD, an association which groups together a selected number of travel agencies based on a strict selection process.

  • RADIUS, one of the world biggest travel agency syndicates.

Nowadays, Viajes Triana has almost one hundred employees in 19 offices.

It has 16 branches and 4 specialized departments (Corporate, Groups, Congresses and Cruises and Special sale promotions)
 The favourable evolution of the company has meant that we now figure in the following prestigious rankings:

  • Main travel agencies on a national level, position 75 (Specialized Nexotur magazine).

  • Top 1.200 companies in Andalucía, position 549 (Andalucía economy magazine)

  • Included in the Prestige Rating Book which shows the top 25.000 Spanish companies, edited by Dun & Bradstreet Corporation).
